Pokémon Team Builder

The quick builder is designed for the first useful answer, not a wall of competitive fields. Add up to six Pokémon and FavePoke compares each defending type against the standard type chart. Weaknesses are attacking types that hit a selected member for more than normal damage; resistances are types that are reduced; immunities are matchups where typing alone prevents damage. The team view counts those relationships across the lineup, while the member view shows which Pokémon creates each result.

Because this page only knows your Pokémon and their types, it does not pretend to calculate offensive coverage from moves you have not chosen. It will not invent an ability, held item, stat spread, or battle format. That makes the quick result easy to understand and honest about its limits: use it to spot stacked defensive weaknesses and find a promising core, then move to the Competitive Team Builder when you need moves, abilities, items, EVs, IVs, roles, speed tiers, legality, or format-aware analysis.

Different goals deserve different tools. Use the Showdown builder when you already have import text or want a clean export for testing. Use the Playthrough Team Planner when you are planning a story run around encounters, evolutions, learnsets, and major battles in a specific game. Every tool keeps the same practical workflow: start with a lineup, inspect the evidence, and continue editing without having to rebuild your team from scratch.
